11th
ANNUAL National
Training SeminaR (NTS) 2008.....
Beikoku Shido-kan Karate-do Association
President: Seikichi Iha, 10th Dan, Head Master
Friday-Sunday, July 18-20, 2008, held at
Michigan State University
East Lansing, Michigan USA
Seminar Content and Focus: There will be a curriculum in
place for ALL ranks (like
less formal
"training" for
the kids
in MSU's swimming pool).
Many facets of the martial arts are to be covered. Sensei Iha
will be leading instruction. Other
master teachers in attendance will be . . .
(names noted here when determined)
. . . as well as other high ranking senseis and
karate-ka with whom to train who are always tremendously
inspiring. It is an extraordinary opportunity to learn, unite
and bond with fellow karate-ka from across the country and
around the world, as well as to celebrate friendships old and
new. Past seminar attendees have come from as far away as
Okinawa, Japan, Australia, Israel, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia,
Russia, Austria, Germany, Italy and Canada.
Among Karate STL adult and youth students who attended past seminars with Sensei
Basinger: George Fortier, Glenda and Bryan Petrofsky, Kristina
and Krystal Carpenter, Ameer and Arbaaz Syed, Stephanie Faulkingham,
Kevin Queen, Tony Bui, Tom Eberle, Kathy and Benjamin Royer, Nsilo
and Nezariah Berry. An educational, exhilarating and enjoyable trip was reportedly had by all. (Further
seminar details posted here when available. Contact Sensei
Basinger for more information.) Read
